In this workshop, you will practice breathing and body awareness techniques. These techniques will improve the quality of your singing voice. But more importantly, they will help you to think of singing as a mindfulness practice that reduces stress, promotes wellbeing, and encourages social connection.

Facilitator: Anoop Dhaliwal Description: When planning your event did you choose a venue accessible to a person who uses a wheelchair? Are there gender-neutral washrooms for attendees to use? Did you acknowledge and thank the Indigenous People whose land you are using? Considering these things can make you a SUPERSTAR in creating more inclusive and safer music spaces! This workshop will explore how to create more inclusive and safer spaces within the music industry, and give participants tools for embracing Canada’s diverse communities.
