About Us

Founded in 2010, Jam in Jubilee (formerly known as Jammin’ in Jubilee) carries on the live music tradition started by Abbotsford Downtown Business Association (ADBA) in 2004. Jam in Jubilee was adopted by Atangard Community Project Society, a melange of young people in Abbotsford dedicated to local music, culture, and art, and has grown to include committee members from various walks of life and community involvement. We are proud to serve the Fraser Valley, including Abbotsford, Chilliwack, Mission, and Langley, all in Beautiful British Columbia, Canada.

Mission

Jam in Jubilee promotes awareness of Abbotsford’s local arts community by providing an outdoor performance venue for musicians and artists to perform and grow.

Vision

Jam in Jubilee seeks to restore the identity of Abbotsford’s downtown as a source of community and cultural expression. We incorporate a diverse blend of musicians and genres to welcome Abbotsford’s varied demographics. Jam in Jubilee invites the various subcultures and age groups that is Abbotsford to participate in their own creative expression. Jam in Jubilee also provides venue space for small market-place booths, community organizations, artistic mediums, and event sponsors.

Values

The Jam in Jubilee Committee strongly values community participation, empowerment of local artists, and the continuing support of imaginative cultural initiatives. The Committee is dedicated to the active promotion of small, privately owned, businesses in downtown Abbotsford.
